Yeah, that's cuz I wanted to see how it would look if his head spikes actually continued to his back, like real hedgehog's. I think it would only work in 2D by utilizing cheat angles.

Looks way better than your past art. Also, I still believe that background noise is really unnecessary. It only makes the file size huge and it takes forever to load.
